Flooring Classes and Certifications
Our 5-day certification classes in epoxy flooring and polished concrete are built for contractors, installers, and entrepreneurs who want to start or grow a flooring business. Both programs give you real, hands-on training on the work customers ask for most. Epoxy students learn solid color coatings, decorative flake floors, metallic epoxy, quartz systems, and cove base installation. Polished concrete students learn grinding and polishing with professional equipment, surface repair, and decorative finishes like concrete stains and custom logos.
We hold classes at locations across the U.S. and Canada, so you can train close to home or travel for the date that fits your schedule. Every location teaches the same curriculum in the same hands-on format. If you're new to the trade, you'll leave with a solid foundation.
By the end of our program, you'll know how to prep a surface properly, run the equipment, and deliver a finished floor you can stand behind. We also cover the business side, including pricing, bidding, and marketing, so you're ready to put that work in front of paying customers.
Pro tools and materials
Proper surface preparation is critical for long-lasting epoxy floors. Students learn grinding techniques, crack repair, moisture testing, and substrate evaluation.
Certification
Learn proper mixing ratios, installation methods, and application techniques to ensure durable and visually appealing floors.
Lifetime phone support

Book A SeatNo. All of our courses (unless explicitly noted) are built for everyone from complete beginners to working contractors adding coatings to their services. We start with the fundamentals and build up to hands-on application, so you'll keep pace whether it's your first floor or your hundredth.
Most of our epoxy and polished concrete classes run a full 5 days, which gives you plenty of hands-on time to learn the whole process start to finish. We also offer shorter 3-day classes at select locations from time to time. Check your preferred location's schedule to find a class that fits.
It varies by class. You'll get hands-on training in whichever system you sign up for, whether that's epoxy (prep, mixing, application, and decorative finishes), polished concrete (grinding, densifying, and polishing), or one of our occasional classes on other systems like Stardek and advanced topics. The focus is always on doing the work yourself, not just watching.
