We're still here for you long after you finish the class
The day you finish is the day the real work starts, so we don't disappear. Every graduate gets lifetime instructor support. Hit a strange substrate, an unfamiliar product, or a bid you're not sure how to price, and you can reach out to the same people who trained you.
You also join a network of installers who've been through the same courses, which means you're never troubleshooting a job alone. This is the part students tell us matters most, long after the certificate goes on the wall.
Surface Preparation
Every good floor starts with good prep. Learn how to assess concrete, test for moisture, repair cracks, and grind to the right profile so your coatings bond and your polished floors hold up for years.
Flake System
Learn to install durable, slip-resistant flake epoxy floors. We'll cover the base coat, flake broadcast, and protective top coat for garages, workshops, and commercial spaces.
Quartz system
Master the quartz epoxy system, from building a strong epoxy base to broadcasting colored quartz granules and sealing it with a clear top coat that keeps the color vibrant.
Metallic System
Master the metallic epoxy system, from working with special pigments to creating flowing, 3D effects that look like marble, waves, or clouds, then sealing it with a top coat that adds depth and shine.
Learn epoxy countertops, from prepping the surface to pouring a smooth, seamless finish that resists heat and stains. You'll also learn how to recreate the look of granite or marble or design something completely custom.
Learn how to work with fast-curing polyaspartics and pick the right topcoat for each job. We’ll cover working times, roll techniques, and finishing so you can deliver a UV-stable, scratch-resistant floor.
Learn the business side, from pricing jobs and estimating materials to finding leads and turning them into paying customers. You'll also learn how to market your services, present quotes, and build a steady flow of work.
Lead instructor
Robert has spent more than 30 years in construction and moved into decorative concrete in 2007. He started teaching in 2016 when Polished Concrete University opened its doors, and has since trained over 3,700 students from around the world.
His approach is simple: make it easy to learn in a comfortable, hands-on environment. Robert built the curriculum around real experience — the good, the bad, and the ugly — so you get accurate, practical information you can actually use.
